Every assignment is shaped by informed professional judgement, not simply templates, formulas or assumptions.
From inspection to final reporting, every team member works within the same disciplined Trustus approach.
Our conclusions are supported by inspection, documentation, market research and a clear understanding of the asset.
We consider the property, market, legal context, risks and potential before arriving at a value.

The Process
Every valuation is built on sound evidence, proven experience and a clear understanding of the property, its market and its potential.
We first receive the available documents from the client and check that everything needed for the assignment is in place. Any missing plans, deeds, approvals or supporting details are identified early, so the inspection and report can move forward without unnecessary gaps.
The property is then inspected in person. We confirm what is actually on site, take the required measurements, review the condition and use of the property, and compare what we see against the documents provided.
Everything gathered from the documents, inspection and market research is brought together. The property is analysed, the appropriate valuation methods are applied, and the findings are turned into a clear report that explains both the value and how it was reached.
Before the report leaves us, it goes through a final review. The figures, property details, assumptions and supporting information are checked once more. Once everything is consistent and complete, the report is finalised and delivered to the client.
The People
The man at the centre of it all
is the mind behind Trustus, the person who questions the obvious, reads property beyond the surface, and turns years of judgement into decisions people can confidently stand behind.

De Mel has led city-wide valuation work in Zambia and handled some of the most unusual assets in the region, from copper refineries and LPG terminals to hydropower plants, resorts, harbours, airports, yachts and seaplanes.

Ajith is someone who has seen valuation from both sides inside government and private firms. His experience covers complex property work, development advice and senior-level reviews, giving clients confidence that nothing important is being overlooked.

Malmina is known for taking on demanding valuation work without losing sight of the details. His experience spans a wide range of property types, while his calm approach, leadership and ability to meet tight deadlines make him someone clients and teams can rely on.

Lasantha brings more than 15 years of experience across government, finance, corporate property management and private practice. He has handled everything from large property portfolios to plant and machinery valuations, giving him a practical understanding of how property performs, not just what it is worth.
The Ideas
Ideas worth knowing before the decision is yours. Clear, practical thinking on property, valuation and the details that can change everything.
